The 9th annual Webster Classic got underway Thursday night with few surprises. The host Statesmen opened their season by controlling their game against Marquette. Maplewood-Richmond Heights handled Lee’s Summit. Kirkwood survived its game with St. Louis University High and Miller Career pulled away from Lindbergh.
